Maintenance kit for Torch inner outer
This kit is composed with the following references:
Maintenance and replacement:
- O-rings: They should be regularly inspected for wear, cracks, or deformation. Over time, they may become brittle due to heat exposure and repeated use. O-rings should be replaced if they show signs of damage, hardening, or when they no longer provide an effective seal, leading to leaks or poor gas flow. Regular replacement may also be necessary as part of a preventative maintenance routine, depending on the frequency of use.
- Quartz External Tube: Over time, the quartz tube can develop cracks, chips, or become contaminated with sample deposits or other debris. Regularly inspect the tube for any damage that could affect the plasma or result in contamination. Quartz is fragile and can break easily if mishandled. Always handle the tube with clean gloves and avoid applying excessive force. Replace the quartz external tube if it becomes cracked, significantly contaminated, or if cleaning is no longer effective in restoring its transparency.
- Teflon Spacer: Teflon spacer can degrade or deform over time due to the heat generated by the plasma. Regularly check for any signs of wear, warping, or cracking. Replace the Teflon spacer if it becomes deformed, cracked, or is no longer able to maintain proper alignment between the quartz tubes.
- Quartz Internal Tube: The quartz internal tube can become contaminated with sample residues or become clogged over time. Regular inspection is necessary, especially after analyzing samples with high dissolved solids. Replace the quartz internal tube if it becomes cracked, excessively contaminated, or clogged beyond cleaning.
