Regularly inspect the tool for any signs of wear, corrosion, or damage. This includes checking the alignment of parts, the integrity of the tool's surface, and the condition of any sealing components.
After each use, clean the tool thoroughly to remove any oil, sulfur residues, or other contaminants.
Signs of Wear: Replace the tool if there are visible signs of excessive wear, such as grooves, scratches, or deformation, which can compromise the integrity of the sample cell assembly.
Decreased Performance: If you notice that the tool is no longer assembling sample cells correctly, or if the SLFA instrument shows inconsistent results, consider replacing the tool.
