Inner Graphite Crucibles: Durable Solutions for Industrial Excellence
Long dual-Wall Crucible
Quantity: 100pcs/box
Black graphite crucibles are used by our EMGA analyzers. A high current is passed through these crucibles to create a high temperature. The oxide in the sample then reacts with the graphite crucible and is extracted as carbon monoxide (CO), then transported with the carrier gas. The extracted gas is analyzed directly as it leaves the dust filter.
Graphite crucibles are known for their excellent thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, and chemical inertness, making them ideal for melting, casting, and alloying metals.
The stability and thermal properties of graphite ensure consistent and reliable results in melting and casting operations.
Durable and resistant to high temperatures, graphite crucibles offer a long service life, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
Inner graphite crucibles are indispensable tools in high-temperature industrial processes, offering exceptional thermal conductivity, chemical inertness, and structural integrity. Their functionalities and advantages, including high performance, versatility, cost-effectiveness, and scalability, make them suitable for a wide range of applications in metallurgy, jewelry making, glass manufacturing, and electronics.
Maintenance and replacement:
- Careful Handling: Handle graphite crucibles with care to avoid cracking or chipping. Use appropriate tools and gloves to handle them.
- Clean Environment: Store crucibles in a clean, dry environment to prevent contamination from dust, moisture, and other foreign materials.
- Avoid Physical Shock: Graphite is relatively brittle, so avoid dropping or subjecting the crucibles to any physical shocks.
- Visual Inspection: Before each use, visually inspect the crucible for any cracks, chips, or other damage. Discard any crucible that shows signs of wear to prevent failure during operation.
- Check for Contaminants: Ensure the crucible is free of any contaminants that could interfere with the process or analysis.
