ParticleFinder automatically detects particles present in a sample and determines their morphological characteristics, including their size and shape. This information can be combined with Raman measurements to perform both morphological and chemical characterization of the particles. When used in conjunction with IDFinder, it becomes possible to quickly identify the analyzed particles by comparing the obtained spectra with reference libraries.

A Hands-On Training Approach
At HORIBA, we prioritize hands-on training.
Following a theoretical presentation of the instrument’s features and best practices, participants perform hands-on exercises directly on the Raman instruments.
A comprehensive demonstration is conducted using reference samples before participants move on to supervised hands-on exercises.
Because every laboratory faces its own unique challenges, participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own samples. This approach allows us to address real-world scenarios and ensures participants leave with advice that is directly applicable to their daily analyses.
Small-group training for personalized support
To ensure high-quality interaction with our application specialists, each session is limited to five participants. This format encourages questions, personalized demonstrations, and support tailored to each participant’s level. The training is offered in French or English, depending on available sessions.
At the end of the training, a certificate of participation is awarded to each participant.
Lunch is included throughout the training day.
