Elevate Your Processes with Short Graphite Crucibles for EMGA ON
Quantity: 200pcs/bag
Black graphite crucibles are used by our EMGA analyzers. A high current is passed through these crucibles to create a high temperature. The oxide in the sample then reacts with the graphite crucible and is extracted as carbon monoxide (CO), then transported with the carrier gas. The extracted gas is analyzed directly as it leaves the dust filter.
Maintenance and replacement:
- Wear Gloves: Always handle graphite crucibles with clean gloves to avoid contamination from oils and dirt on your hands.
- Avoid Physical Damage: Handle with care to prevent chips, cracks, or other physical damage.
- Check for Defects: Before using, inspect the crucible for any visible defects, such as cracks, chips, or impurities. Do not use a crucible that appears damaged.
- Correct Amount: Measure the appropriate amount of sample to be placed in the crucible according to the protocol of your analysis.
- Avoid Overfilling: Do not overfill the crucible as it may affect the accuracy of the analysis and lead to spillage.
