Fused Silica Cuvette
This 2-mL to 4-mL non-fluorescing fused silica cell can accept a magnetic stirrer, has a 10-mm path length, and includes a white Teflon® cap that prevents sample evaporation.
The fused silica is a high-purity form of glass composed almost entirely of silicon dioxide (SiO2).
Fused silica has excellent optical properties, including high transparency in the ultraviolet (UV), visible, and near-infrared (NIR) spectral regions. It is also resistant to thermal shock and chemical corrosion, making it ideal for use in demanding laboratory environments.
This cuvette is used to hold liquid samples for analysis, allowing light to pass through the sample and be measured by a spectrophotometer or other optical instrument.
